Add and Remove Tasks from Board
Add existing tasks
Add tasks from the board view
Click on the + icon at the upper right corner of each column and select Add existing tasks.
Tip: You can use the filter bar or simply type in the search bar to narrow down your task list.
Note: If the task you are adding to the board has already been given a status in the list view, there might be status change.
Add tasks from the list view
Right-click on a task and select Add to board, then choose a board that you want to add the task to.
Hitting ^ on the keyboard then use the up/down arrow key to choose a board can also allows you to add a task to the board.
Note: If the project doesn’t have a board, you would need to create a board first, in order to add the task to a board.
Create new tasks
Click on the + icon at the upper right corner of each colum and select Create new tasks.
Hit Enter to continue to add new tasks. When done, hit Esc to finish.
Note: The newly created tasks will also be added to the list view as a root task.
Drag and drop tasks across columns
You can drag and drop your tasks from column to column to reorganize your work or move it to the next status.
Or you can drag the tasks up and down to reorder your column list.
Edit the task cover
If you had attached or embedded an image to a task, you can let it show as a task cover image in the board.
Click on the three dots icon on the upper right corner of the task in your board. Select Edit cover and choose the image that you would like to show as a cover.
Remove tasks from board
Remove one task
Click on the three dots icon on the upper right corner of the task in your board and select Remove task from board.
Remove multiple tasks at once
Hit Shift or Ctrl to select multiple tasks on the board and use the bottom menu bar to remove them at once.
Note: When you remove the tasks from a board, they still exist in the List view.
