Syncing issue - I've unfollowed a list on the web but I am still getting notifications on my mobile

1. I have favourited some task that are not assigned to me
2. I unfollowed the project on the web, but I did not unfollow or unfavourite the tasks mentioned in 1
3. I still was receiving notifications from the whole project on my mobile (not the tasks that I favourited)
4. I checked on web, the project was still unfollowed, then I go on to my mobile and saw that I was still following the project on mobile, so I unfollow the same project again, and then notifications stopped as I would have wanted

So I thought this might be a syncing issue, hope the above steps help! Thanks Crystal!

Hi Lili, We will try to reproduce the issue at our end. Let me first double-check what you did:

1. You unfollowed some tasks in a project that are NOT assigned to you on the web. But you still received notifications of them in the Android app
2. You unfollowed the project on the web. But you still received notifications of them in the Android app.
3. You unfollowed the same project in the Android app. Then, the notifications stopped.

Correct?

I unfollowed the project on web, and I do not have any tasks assigned to me, and then I had to do the same (unfollow the same project) again on mobile to stop the notifications of the other tasks.

Now I am only following certain tasks in that project, and not the whole project.

Hi Lili, It could be that you are still a follower of the project, and/or you are an assignee of the task(s) that you continue to receive notifications. To remove yourself from the project follower(s), go to the project’s “Overview” page, and click on the “eye” icon.
