#1072: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
This is the third or fourth time when I report on the issue. Firefox 61 does not work in offline mode.
How to reproduce?
- Download and install Firefox and install for example ublock origin plugin
- Authorize to the quire, and do some tasks to save them in a cache.
- Add quire.io/w/ page to the top site's panel
- Reboot PC
- Turn off internet cable
- Try to click on quire from Top Sites panel
- Nothing will happen, because the page will not be loaded and Firefox will throw an error that page can't be the load.
I have reproduced it several times on many different versions with and without plugins.
What will happen to Chrome?
- Everything will work with any plugins, on any Chromium browser.
Where is the problem with firefox?
- It does not store quire storage or does not have access to it when no internet connection
- When Firefox and internet cable is off trying to check is quire can be reachable or not, if not -> will throw an error. While Chrome will check local storage.
Also, quire.io does not work on Edge.
Please fix it.

Hi DrWho, For now, we would suggest you to use Chrome when offline. We will add a desktop app in the future; It should help once it is available.
