Bug: Typing hashtag for a new tag in a task doesn't add the new tag

I love how Quire has made all these keyboard shortcuts available, I really love them.

One things is we noticed when adding a task, we wanted to add a new tag to it by typing in the hashtag icon and the new tag in directly, it came up showing a "(new)" behind that tag, but pressing enter after that doesn't save the new tag. It has to be manually created by clicking the tag icon behind the task. Is it a bug?
