Please add a panel or project line feature which allow distinguishing tasks created via custom hotkey combination in a separate project for flow processing.
Imagine you have different projects, and tasks inside them. And in each project, and in each tasks you have small sub-tasks what you can just do right now.
How will you distinguish them? Via setting dates? Labels? Etc? This is too many work for this.
For what is it need? When you have very small tasks what you can do without thinking, you can easy open "flow tasks" pane at left and do it 1 by 1 without caring in which project they are or where they're inside the list. I talk exactly about this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_(psychology)
How this works? When you have very simple tasks.
Why we can't just add simple tasks with Quire? Because there are no such instruments for that. Yes, you have dozens of features, but you do not have most important one, some project or some list of tasks which comes from many different projects into one list without any structurization at all, decided by a user (me for example) what exactly must be done.
Why not just add next:
- shortkey for creating "flow task", for example alt+enter
- this task is created under the parent task as child one and marked technically as a flow task.
- at the same time this flow task added to the end of the list of flow project list without any structurization.
- if you will hit "done task", it will complete the task in the original project.
- if you will comment task - it will do it in original project, instead of flow one.
Again, the main idea in next:
- in easy creation of tasks what must be done (like super simple tasks) which automatically added to only one list from any other project where you have enabled "flow list". Not via adding labels, not via settings dates, not via setting who will do it, etc. Just hit alt+enter or insert button, or i dunno what (decide what you like more) - and voila you have "flow task" created. This task automatically moved to flow panel.
Now i review all my projects, and hitting alt+enter and writting what need to do (super simple task). I select task, hitting alt+enter = voila, the task added to the flow pane. Then I go fast to next task in the project list, and do the trick again. Now, all tasks processed, and now I can easy open flow panel with all small flow tasks and process them 1 by 1 without jumping though the list of my tasks, without jumping to projects, without searching for tasks, without categorizing, without adding labels, dates, so on. Just distinguished a work what i will do, and will do it.
That's it.
ow, so sorry, you're already have this feature, it's called "favorite tasks"... Damn, you're genious guys in this Quire company... Really love you all <3
