Hi guys,
I see overloaded CPU and slow interface (freezes for 1-3 seconds) every day now.

It's very annoying.
I guess it's loading all completed tasks to memory every time I interact with the page?

Thanks for the information. We'll look into it.

@tomyeh @crystal I've tried to transfer completed tasks - it took 3 hours to transfer first 2.5k and then it stuck. Now I can't open a home page at all - infinite loading and blank page.
Please help me to transfer all completed tasks from To do to To do- Archive 2018.09.11

The performance of huge project is definitely in our agenda. We just don't expect it will grow so fast:) We'll raise the priority.

Thank you guys. It's a bit better now (with 0 completed and 400 open tasks), but still not good enough as it was before. I hope you will find a solution for Chrome Desktop and Android App 😃 Cheers

@tomyeh yes I did exactly as you described. it goes one by one, 3 sec per task, and crashes at some moment.
Diego Softcontrol, Sep 11, 2018
@diego.softcontrol sorry, I'm not related anyhow to quire, but I'm software developer too. You have 5k tasks, this is 5k strings / objects in structure. Even for simple browser this is too much things what need to process and draw. Try to use many projects by categorization instead of using only one project for all your work. Technically it will be super hard to optimize the code of quire in browser to display 5k tasks. Because it's need to pull all of them, work with each of task, display it, load comments, etc. This is very big amount of work for any browser / server.

Thanks for the idea @crystal - I'll try.
I'm always switching between "Sort by date" (so I can pick up tasks to do for today / overview tasks for tomorrow) and "Active tasks" (so I can create/everview complex tasks with subtasks (projects), add/edit dates, find information (I also use Quire as knowledge base). It's slow and annoying in both Android app and desktop.

@diego After scanning with our admin tool, both projects are correct. They shall be OK to access. Did you close browser and try again? Sometimes, browser will take too much memory and slow down a lot.
If still not working, we can look into them manually but it requires your written permission. Be aware that when examining by our engineers, we might see some content. Also be aware we don't have any way to change the content including transferring. That is, we can only check why it can't be loaded.

lol, you pretty productive guy. What system are you follow?
DrWho, Sep 6, 2018
Hi Diego, The performance should be improved now. And if you like, you can click on the “filter” icon to exclude old completed tasks to speed up performance or transfer them to another project which shall be faster.
Crystal, Sep 17, 2018
Hi Diego, You can consider transferring completed tasks to a project, and archive it for future reference. In the meantime, we will look into it. Are you using Quire in the default “active tasks” view, or in the “all tasks” view?
Crystal, Sep 10, 2018
Transferring shall be fast. I wonder why it took hours. Did you use batch mode to select all tasks you'd like to transfer? Did you uncheck Transfer a copy and keep the tasks in the current project (i.e., don't make a copy)?
Tom Yeh, Sep 11, 2018
@drwho lol, just using Quire since 2016, it's just 7-10 completed tasks per day
OS: Windows 10 x64, 8Gb RAM, Intel Core i7 2.4Ghz. Browser: 69.0.3497.81 (Official Build) (64-bit) Internet: 20-30 Mbps, ping 30-50 to Singapore
Diego Softcontrol, Sep 6, 2018
@drwho @crystal Should I delete all historical records or there is any other way to increase the performance?
Diego Softcontrol, Sep 10, 2018
Taking hours to transfer is too painful. Please give us a few days. We’ll work out a solution for it.
