It's great to have a markup based editor but if there was an option to have a rich-text visual editor it would make it much easier for non-technical users to do simple things like embed an image or perform text formatting.
Having voted for this I've just noticed that the last comments were from late 2018 so I assume it's not a priority?

Another vote for a WYSIWYG editor. I find markdown a real hindrance, it makes my digital life harder, not easier.. The app is easier to use on my phone than the web because of this.

Well not really looking for a full WYSIWYG editor but something basic like what things like Jira offer:

I'd suggest something like GutHub's Markdown on comments, it's nice to have both WYSIWYG and WYSIWYM available, besides, md is plain simple and powerful if required. Pretty much a standard editor for web these days too.

YES, YES, YES!!! The visual editor is the way to go, not the hidden and unknown shorthand notation and secret codes. Imagine MS Word hiding their toolbar, and forcing you to press CTRL+B, CTRL+I, ALT+WIN+SHIFT+7 etc?
It's not a game like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter on PlayStation where you have to remember fifty crazy key combos to get your character to move. Good apps expose their functionality via visible and easily accessible interfaces. Please do it for Quire, you have so much great functionality and formatting that's all locked behind the key combinations that we don't know (and shouldn't have to learn).

Hi Samyem, Thank you for the suggestion. Is the editor in eg., Word something you are looking for?
