Quire definitely need a way to add tasks without opening the browser. Todoist, as example, open a window where you can add the text and assign date and project, like "Meeting tomorrow 16:00 #SalesRetreat". It even have a bottom bar where you can add these details with the mouse.

Hi Crystal, better would be a dedicated app and widget. That would also allow us to work in a offline environment, (ex when flying) or when we are working in another application (ex. Excel) without the need to open a Chrome browser window
