Hi guys,
I haven't used Quire in a while. Now I don't remember how to add a Child task under another task. I already reported this issue: why can't I right-click an item, and simply have "Add child task" action?
Work items Travel plans Family items \add a child task "0" here - HOW?? child task 1 child task 2 child task 3
Problem # 1: I don't see any commands in the toolbar or ANYWHERE on the screen to add a child task! I am not joking - I really don't know how to add a child item here. It's like you want to open a door, but there is no door handle. You feel stupid - it's bad to make users feel stupid, as a rule of good UX.
Problem # 2: As a user, I don't want to memorize any shortcuts or keyboard commands. I'm sure there's some key I can press for this. But basic operations must be simple, not hidden. PLEASE let users right-click any item such as "Family items", and in the menu have an item "Add child task" (or "Add child item").
In Windows explorer you can right-click and create a new file or folder, in fact in any similar app you can right-click and create items.
