... and doesn't reappear until I leave the app screen and return. I don't have a reproduction case. I'm assuming (like many material design apps) there's logic for the button to disappear to maximize screen real estate for viewing, but whatever interaction is supposed to bring it back doesn't seem to trigger in an intuitive way. Normally it has something to do with how the user scrolls (I think).

Hi Robert, Normally, it is only when you sort/filter, that you need to swipe a task from right to left to add tasks (or subtasks); The rest of the time you may need to scroll the task list a bit for the + button to show.
