For example, if I "sort by assignee", will Quire remember how I had things sorted originally and return to that order, or is sorting a one-way mutation with no "revert" operation?

Hi Robert, When you sort by eg., assignee, the next time you access Quire, we will return you to the same “sort by assignee” view. Let me know if this answered your question.
