#1269: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Hi Crystal,

you ask for a reason, why I would like to add a new task in My Tasks view? This is dead simple: anytime I watch my tasks (eg. in overview like in My Tasks) it leads to new thoughts about the subject - which leads to new tasks (my brain seems to work this way only). I need a task-managing app like Quire to drop every thought in, because otherwise its gone in a few minutes. So the demand is not really about adding new tasks in a special view, its about adding tasks in any view!

Hi Crystal, I am sorry to bother you, but what I thought as a bug is a feature: I have to swipe an existing task to open a new task. Once I learned that, it is not really difficult to work with, but I miss the green Button with the + sign a little. By the way: is it possible to put the swiping-feature in the My-Tasks-View as well? Could make things a little easier.

Thank you very much!

Peter

Hi Peter, Got it! 👍 That sounds reasonable. Will pass your suggestion to the team. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Peter, No worries, we love all sorts of feedback. 😃 Let’s say you sort by eg., assignee. We would not know where to add new tasks to, if we allow “+” button. But if you filter, then the “+” button will show. Regarding your suggestion, any reason you want to be able to add tasks in My Tasks view?

Hi Peter, Not quite sure what you meant. Can you please elaborate with an example (and screenshot)? Thanks. FYI, after you filter, you can add new tasks (or subtasks) by swiping a task from right to left.
