I have two organizations setup. One is for mod's an higher and one is for admins only. I had a set of tasks that I transferred from the mod's to the admin's. One of the tasks was assigned to a user. That user does NOT have access to the other organization as he's a mod, and not an admin. After the transfer, he was added to the Admin project and able to see everything. I don't think this is secure at all. The assigned user should be unassigned or an error should be shown, rather than silently giving someone access.

Hi Blimey, When you transfer a task to a project in another organization, you can uncheck the option “Add people associated with the tasks to that project” in the dialogue. This way, the task will be unassigned. Let me know if this helps.

I didn’t notice that was an option. Thank you so much for explaining how that works. that makes sense and is a good way to handle. convenient if you do want them added and easy to uncheck if you don’t. Thank you!
