#1330: Quire Feedback

  1. chrome plug-ins support collection of web pages (at least quickly add page title +url).

  2. The web supports keyboard shortcuts for pop-up windows and quick entry, such as "nozbe" which makes me feel most efficient. The shortcut keys activate the task input boxes. In addition to the normal task name, time, priority, label, and quick identification of items, the keyboard shortcuts also support typing the input boxes for "##" activating the task description (support markdown). However, it should be noted that because quire is currently only available on the PC as a web version, it is better not to display the quire page at the same time when the pop-up window is in place to avoid blocking other windows. Unless confirmed or exited, the active input window is activated to maintain top display.

Nozbe quick entry task pop-up method can be used for reference.

  1. On Android and the iPhone, in addition to fast sending select text, files, web pages, etc. to create a quire task, the notification bar should also support fast input.

  2. Support setting up a project as "inbox".

Hi Ricky,

  1. We shall let users add webpages as tasks to Quire via Chrome plugin.
  2. Looks neat. Something we can consider when we have a desktop app.
  3. We have recently added widget for our Android app and it will be available for our iOS app too in the future.
  4. Would adding a project called eg., Inbox where you can dump items to be organized later help?
