#1336: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Hi everyone, just wanted to send you a quick message to say that I think you've done a great job with Quire and that's because of the ethos you have based it on - the simplistic approach to managing your tasks. I've read a lot of comments from users that want this function and that function, they want it to do everything here and everything there. This is such a shame as they, I believe, are missing the point you're trying to get across - think differently and you will benefit more - which of course Quire can help with.

I therefore think that you could go further with your explanation of what Quire is and maybe head your marketing towards 'change your way of managing tasks will benefit you' on top of 'Quire can do things more simply'. You could help some real change take place.

Look, carry on what you are doing, as you guys are doing great and we thank you for that. Chris

Thanks for your compliments and encouragement.

Indeed, there is no one-for-all. It is really a matter of personal preference. To us, simplicity and silky UX is always at the top of list. It is also one of the reasons we started Quire.

Meanwhile, we learned a lot from you guys in the past couple years -- via feature requests, suggestions, use cases and interviews.

Our philosophy is simple: the product itself is the way we model and express the world for a particular domain.

We analyzed demands and uses, tried to identify the model behind them, and checked if we can embrace it with minimal extension to existing model or even totally reinvention. If we're lucky, here comes a breakthrough. If not, we put back to, sorry, the super long list awaiting for inspirations.

So, don't worry. We won't get drown, so is UI:)
