Only started using Quire yesterday -- it feels exactly like modern software should! Great job.

...but if there was just one thing -- and there is -- it'd be that it'd be really great to make one task a prerequisite of another...

Hi Alistar, we will add a native “Calendar” view and possibly Gantt chart with task dependencies in the future. If you can share a visual example (mockup screenshot) of what you have in mind, that would be great.
