Hi, forgive me if I haven't found a related feedback if it exists already.
I have many organizations with many projects and tasks.
When I look at my tasks list, all assigned tasks are there, of course ordered by Overdue, Today, later, etc.
Some tasks do not have a start dates or a due dates and are nevertheless "urgent", high, medium, low.
The use case here is that often a task is created but not assigned start/due date! These dates often have to be set according to urgency/priority.
It would be a god send to have a priority sort/filter in the My Tasks view!
Please?

Hi Michelle,
Yes, no need to be corrected š
My ocd side dislike very much!! :D
But yes, it does the trick.
I already played with smart folders and I actually thought it would do exactly what I needed but no: one has a maximum of 5 projects and it is somewhat inelegant to have to remember adding new projects there. I have many Ā« organisations Ā» yet even more projects.
Maybe if there was a super smart folder superseding Ā« everything Ā», like a ticking box that would say Ā« overall/super user scope Ā» that would encompass everything the logged in user or account holder has visibility on? That would be a killer and I could see in a second everything that is urgent everywhere at any time, regardless if there is a start/due date already assigned. Big brother style :D
Cheers!

Hi Michelle, yes but the main panel sees one project at a time. I am talking about global tasks for a given assignee or for all tasks everywhere -> filtered by priority.
You are taking about visiting each project, create a filter by priority and then visit every single projects every time you want a peek at whatās urgent. No time to do this when facing.. urgent times š
Is that clearer?
The « favoriteĀ Ā» hint you provided is not nice but this is a working workaround. However it removes the spirit of the « favoriteĀ Ā» feature because it became a « show urgentĀ Ā» toggle that needs to be mentally implemented, eg. if itās urgent, also tick favorite. Leave to the people to forget to do it, when itās urgent often you donāt want to favorite that task :D
all right enough said!

Hi Patrick, I do understand what you mean. Currently, we can view priority tasks by customizing the filter option in the main panel. Let me know if this helps.

me too. Its a major need. As the main panel shows only one project at at a time, its restricting over view

Hi Patrick, yes, of course, I do understand what you mean. Let me discuss with our team and get back with you on possible solutions.

Agree with Patrick, can you please make a global filter of all organizations and projects. it would be a really powerful feature to have an would make Quire complete !

Yay! That looks like my super-smart folder might see the light! :D

Itās really a nice to have! I am no priority, no heavy user, I love Quire and itās simply an aspect I identified on my daily usage - I want to make it better for everyone š
I believe that one request has value :D

Hi all, the Smart Folder might be the solution for your needs when we ensure the performance of having all tasks from all projects. We will keep you all updated. š

Hi Patrick, Do correct me if Iām wrong. Did you mean you want to see tasks that are of urgency at the top of My Tasks even though they do not have start/due date? If so, this might help: Favorite. You can āfavoriteā (the āheartā icon) a task for it to show under Favorites section in My Tasks view. And FYI, you can add a Smart Folder of different projects, and in this Smart Folder view, sort/filter by priority.
