the calendar is showing in local calendar since the last app update. please advise how to change it back to the English language calendar?

I had experienced the same issue on my Android phone last week, during the second-to-last app update. However, during the most recent Android app update, this issue has been resolved. I am hoping that the next iOS update will resolve this issue on my iPhone also.
I have checked the calendar settings on both my devices and the default language in the calendar setting is set to ‘English’.
