I would like to request Group By and Swim Lane By x feature. This feature may required Custom Field or Tag Group In Task and Board View, you would able to Group its Task by another virtual Group By some attribute and its value In Board View, we could change how each Horizontal Swim Lane contains tasks by some attributes like Custom Field and its value Basically the Board View would become a Matrix base of Tasks

For your question, yes. Basically the same sort the whole board but break down in each columns separately I think that you would have selection of sort by Tag Group. In Tag Group, you would able to select which tags are included. And if somehow your incoming Custom Field has something like Defined Array (Stack) of Values, you could Sort whole board by that too. Because if you sort the whole board by all tags, it would become a mess of small tasks.

Thank you for your screenshot! Currently, you can sort in Board, for eg. by assignee, and you will see a swimlane for each assignee (see image below). Let me know if this helps!
And, do you mean you would also like to sort (group)/filter tasks by eg., tag for each column?
