#148: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Hi Quire friends, I am thinking about how useful will be having a timer tracker feature inside Quire. I have checked and use some, but using one great tool for everything will be great. Also if you are planning to deliver an app for desktop will be very helpful.

Thank you!

Hi Stefany, By reports, I assume you mean the stats in the profile view of a project or member. If so, in this profile view, you can press Ctrl+P or Cmd+P (for Mac) to print it, and even save it as a PDF file by for example clicking on “Open PDF in Preview” in the print preview. Perhaps it would help?

Hi WeiHua, Thanks. 😃

I recommend a time tracking application named toggl.com.

Wow that's cool! I need hierarchical task list to organize my backlog, agile boards to plan my work for a week and time tracking to analyze actual time spent.

Yanis Batura, Nov 21, 2016

hello, there's a way to export the reports of the tracking?

Stefany, Jun 17, 2017

Yes, Quire is really missing the following features:

  1. Time tracking and reports (like in timecamp).
  2. Agile boards (sprints / kanban).
  3. Reminder dashboard where you could see all reminders (custom and / or "days remaining" style).

If it had them, it'd be a perfect app for me. Otherwise it's just a glorified hierarchical task list.

Hi Yanis, For time tracking and reports, we are currently working on start and due time and once they are ready (which should be soon), they will work well with your reminders. When you get a chance to try them then, please let us know if they are good enough for you. By the way, may I ask why you need time tracking and Agile boards? We will have our own calendar view and some sort of statistics based on your progress and time in Quire Mark II (aka Quire 2.0) that is our No.1 priority at the moment. Sprints/kanban will be available in 2.0 as well. 😃

Hi Yanis, Thanks for the quick reply. That workflow from organizing a long list of tasks to focusing on just a few ones for each week makes sense. 😃

⭐️ To avoid having too many duplicate feedback, we have merged your post with this thread #2676 already covering this topic. Feel free to add your comments to that thread.

Hi @kati, You're welcome! We've been thinking about having a time tracker inside Quire as well! 😃 Can you give us a few examples of the ones you've checked/used? And yes, an app for desktop is in our plan! That said, may I ask why you need it?
