Hello, it seems not possible to sort the task llist other than drag and drop tasks to another position. It would be helpful to be able to sort by name, by due date or by priority when viewed as a list of tasks in the project pane. thank you and greetings karl.

Hi Michelle,

thank you for your continous updates and information. Yes I understand now and this is clear to me. This answer makes it interesting to consider pinning the the custom filter in the future if usability allows for it. Many greetings!

Hi Karl, Yes, we have given some thought to pinning the custom filter. However, it is challenging at times to balance simplicity vs. diverse demands. As for the default view, you will currently see Active Tasks (not all tasks) without the sorted by or filtered conditions applied.

UPDATE 2: I now found the additional Submenu which can be shown, where one can sort by date, priority, name etc... So all my Questions are solved, thank you what an amazing application!

OK thank you, but what orde is the default view "without sorted or filtered condition" - there must be SOME logic in which order the tasks are shown? thank you MIchelle

Additional Question on the Tasks list: what is the DEFAULT sorting/filtering when I call up the task pane? I see no real pattern here, not by name, not by date...???

One last udate after using the "Customise" submenu: it always disappears when changing panes or projects, but it is sooo useful... maybe it can stay on always as an option??? thank you!

Hi Karl, Not a problem! Your feedback and comments are always welcomed. 😃

Hi Karl, Great to know you found how to utilize the filters. The reason we designed it this way was to give it a more a user friendly look and feel! To save your customized filters, you can click on the star icon and make it available every time you open the filter options. Let me know if this helps!

Hi Karl,

There is not a specific order for the default "Active Tasks" view. You are able to able to add and drag tasks around. The list also does not contain completed tasks or filtered conditions for a more simple approach and a cleaner list. Hope this clarifies your question.

Hello Michelle, thank you for the answer and yes, this helps a little bit. However it might be useful for many users if the sorting/filtering custom setting could be saved permanently in a way that any time you select the Tasks pane from any project, you immediatly see the custom filtering, without having to go in the menu dropdown. But as always ith feature requests, I do understand that some handy feature for some users could clutter the usability for others...

Update: I just found out one CAN sort in the filter dropdown, which is a bit misleading as sorting is something different than filtering but however it works... THANK YOU
