(For me) it would make searching easier, if when hitting ctrl+s for searching, the actual value in search box would be selected. So I could just start typing the new text, no need to delete actual text.

Actually this is what I do now, pressing ctrl+A, it works fine. I just realized that 99% of the time I search for something new. And when I don't, I could just press the right arrow key to continue searching.

Hi @miklos.bartfai , After our internal discussion, we think that your suggestion made sense to us. Now when you hit Ctrl+S for searching, the texts in search bar will be highlighted, so you won’t need to delete then type! 😃

Thank you for your suggestion. I will pass it on to our team. 😃 Our original design is for you to modify the original search keyword (value in search box) for further search. Maybe you can press Ctrl+A, after hitting Ctrl+S, this way all the texts in search box would be selected, so you won’t have to delete it first. Hope this helps.
