In my checklist, to keep it organized I'm putting almost all recurring tasks under a "Routine" task.
I would like to suggest that we can edit a task so it can't be checked.
Thanks!
Hi Peggy, Yes, the feature I'm suggesting is exactly that! Sorry for the confusion ^^'
I'm doing that for now, not completing it at all, I was just worried that someone will check it when I share it with the team and I'll have to keep undoing mistakes.
Anyway thanks! I'm happy for the reply!

@peggy Thanks for the reply! And sorry, I'm building our organization checklist on Quire, but I was in a hurry and sent the feedback without expressing myself correctly 😱
I'm using the recurring task function and I know that after you check it, it creates a new task with the new deadline. And this is great.
But I'm using some tasks as a Title ou a group to keep the recurring tasks organized, for example:
- Title A -- Human Resources --- Task 1 (recurring) --- Task 2 (recurring) -- Accounting --- Task 3 (recurring) --- Task 4 (recurring)
- Title B -- Management --- Task 1 (recurring) --- Task 2 (recurring)
In this case, "Title A" and "Title B" should never be checked because they never end. I was wondering if there is some other way to organize but then I came with the idea that it would be nice if this becomes a new funcionality on Quire.

This would be a great addition. Perhaps it is not about toggling on and off the idea of completion, but just another status. To Do, In Progress, Complete, and "Heading" or "Persistent" or something of the sort.

Hi Rodrigo,
For recurring tasks, you can set the due dates to repeat. So when you complete the tasks, it will appear as a new task automatically. Hope this will help. 😃

Hi Peter, Thanks for this suggestion. In list-view, when right click to set status, actually there is a list of percentage of status for you to choose from.

Hi Rodrigo, It’s awesome to hear that you like our features! Right now, we don’t have the feature you’ve mentioned, probably all you can do is just not to complete it at all, then it won’t disappear from the task list. And correct me if I am wrong, it sounds like you would like a feature that can toggle on/off the complete function. If so, we will bring it to our discussion.
