Edit Mode

Hi Yogi, I’m glad to hear you like Quire! For your concern, we have the “Undo” button at the top right hand side. This way you can go back some steps and even undelete tasks. Or you can just press “Esc” (to escape from edit mode). Let me know if this helps. We will probably consider the toggle button for edit mode in Settings. Since it would be inconvenient for most users who are editing tasks constantly to turn on/off edit mode. Anyways, I will bring to our team for discussion! 😃

Hi Yogi, The good new is what you are using now remains free. But our price should be competitive to our competitors, like Asana.

Our Undo button can only trace back few of your recent modification of tasks (such as deleting/ moving/ editing etc). I am not sure what do you mean by undo “nesting task”. Would you please give me more details?

on more! the undo button sometimes not help my problem, it's not undo the nesting task.

Hi @yogi , after discussing with our team, i would like to know what kind of things do you accidentally type that caused ruining your nested task list? And under what circumstances? e.g. were you already in edit mode? Or not? We would like to understand more, so we could solve your problem. Thanks a lot!

Hi Yogi, Thanks for detailed explanation. I can understand your situation, because it sometimes happen to me, but once I got use to the shortcuts. I find it very convenient for me. I will take your situation to discussion and see what we can come up with, but for now, i think the best way is to probably use the Undo button (Ctrl+Z) once you accidentally move the tasks. 😃

I really appreciate for your attention to user.

Ok let's breakdown the situation.

1. I always use combination of ctrl+directional to jump over text when I typing, and you know what happen when I do this while I edit task, it's move the nesting task. Instinctively, I do the opposite to take it back instead of using undo button, but it makes the nesting even worst.

2. It's my habbit to randomly typing when I felt stressed out :D
