I'm wanting to use Quire more in my upper-level classroom - it's beautiful and easy!
The easiest thing have done so far is to use it to advise students on their attendance, as we're supposed to do in our school. I can tag everyone who is absent and then just share the link to that project. They can search for themselves and count their absences that way...
What I'd LIKE to do is use Quire to keep track of students in our self-paced curriculum, and haven't figured out how to do that yet...
I have made one curriculum project - listing all the steps the student has to do - but I can't check off each student as they complete, because that would also "complete" the step - and I want other students to do this curriculum too...
So far am going to share a copy of the curriculum to each student and keep track of where they are in it that way - while keeping tags of each student involved in the "main" curriculum project - but that is a lot of backing and forthing - am wondering if there is an easier way to do this?
Later I can use it in other ways - would like to use the stats more, for instance - but just started using it...
Hi Michelle, Well, if you want to also share the progress with each student, I suppose you could do it the other way around. That is, when someone completes the task(step), you could tag them, then when you will know which students have finished the job and vice versa.

that's kind of what am doing for my needs, but am also wanting to share with each student their progress - I suppose since their grades aren't in there, it doesn't matter if they can see who else is in what part of the curriculum - will have to check on that - thanks!

Hi Michelle, I’m very glad to hear that you are incorporating Quire into your classroom. For your concern, maybe you can use Tags to track the completion on tasks. For example, each student is one tag. And when he/she completes the step(task), you can just remove the tag of his/her name. You can then simply track the status by filtering out one student(tag). Let me know if this helps! 😃
