#1602: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

I've created a model for my quire projects but I'd like to know if it would be neglected from the statistics because of administration issues. This would be a great future for who uses lots of projects and creating those one by one is awful. Even though I can copy from another one I'm using, it stills doesn't copy completed tasks or copy them as completed. Then I have to uncomplete them.

this is my organization projects, the first one was used to all of them and we wont use it except for templates but it stills shows on our progress statistics.

Hi Rodrigo, I’m sorry, i don’t really understand what you mean by “ if it would be neglected from the statistics because of administration issues”. Do you mean you have created a template project and you would like to copy the whole project including the completed tasks and mark them as uncompleted in the new project? If so, like you have said, when you duplicate the project, if you chose to copy the completed tasks, unfortunately you will have to uncomplete them manually. The quickest way is probably just press Ctrl+A to select all and change the status at once. Hope this helps!

Hello Peggy, I'll try to be more clear, but I probably don't know how to explain this haha sorry.

I have a project with 40 tasks named "--model_project--", this was created only so I can easily copy this as a template for other projects, so this model is not used for anything else except for when creating another project. But when displaying the statisctics of the organization with this model and other projects, it'll show that the "--model_project--" has 40 tasks uncompleted and it would kinda mess with the statistics, right? What I meant to ask was, if there's a way to select a project so it would be ignored from the graphics and statistics of the team.

Hi Rodrigo, You explained it very well, I understand what you mean and yes, the "--model_project--" will mess up the statistics. I think your suggestion makes sense to me. I will bring this to our internal discussion. Thanks. 😃
