inconsistent completed task behavior: on the web completed tasks are greyed out, on the android app they are struck out

Hi @propagandacreative , You could filter out the completed tasks, by going to the filter icon at the upper right corner, then choose “Active Tasks”. Thanks.

Especially given the old behavior is still in place in the mobile apps...

Is there a way to not show greyed out completed tasks? It makes my lists super long and hard to digest. Is this a setting somewhere?? Thank you.

Hi Yozza, For completed tasks, our team have changed the design on this, we changed it into only turning the tasks gray instead of striking out, this is due to users requests. As for you suggestion about toggling on/off the strikethrough, I will bring to our team for more discussion. Thanks.

I notice you have been going through this feedback project and marking complete/peekabooing resolved tasks to "archive" them.

My suggestion here was implemented long ago, feel free to complete/peekaboo this.

I also have many other old suggestions/bugs that I'm very grateful to the Quire team for implementing/fixing long ago! Would it be useful for you if I @ you in those so you can archive them too?

Hi Yozza, for the autocomplete of referring tasks, it won’t be easy to differentiate if it was just greyed out, that’s why it’s still remain strikethrough for this time being. And for if we will implement it toggle on/off or not, it’s probably in our plan but as we have other higher priority tasks, we have not gotten to it yet.

For what it's worth, I have noticed another inconsistency (in addition to the mobile apps): the autocomplete for task linking still does strikethrough:

This is quite confusing and unexpected (my first reaction was to think this was referring to deleted tasks!)

Given the team already have the code for strikethrough, an Organisation wide view toggle should be relatively simple?

Apologies for pestering on this one, it's just that it's the most important for me and it used to be fine :S
