The Ctrl button is used for a lot of different keyboard shortcuts through the browser and software installed across various operating systems. Sometimes those settings override the webpage function of when Ctrl is pressed.
Hi no_char, Most of the users would like the Task ID to be hidden, that’s why we designed it to be able toggled on/off. Anyway, thanks for letting us know your reason. We shall think about this. 😃

The issue is that any time I use a command that involves Ctrl and im on the quire page, the IDs are toggled. There are other times i want to turn on IDs after accidently toggling them off but for some reason the page does not react. I believe allowing IDs to be set to "Always Show" would be helpful for people who want to always have them shown

Hi no_char, Thanks for this suggestion, you mentioned pressing Ctrl key would override some webpage function, to my knowledge, a lot of function only works when Ctrl is pressed together with other keys, could you please give us some examples of overriding? Thanks. 😃
