#1762: Quire Feedback

I'm not sure how to describe the issue I'm having, but I'll do my best. When editing text within the iPhone app I'm struggling when moving the cursor to a different location or selecting a single word (i.e., "select", instead of "select all"). For example, I've misspelled a word by one letter, and instead of backspacing and retyping the whole word, I'd usually move the cursor to the letter that needs replacing; usually on the iPhone when the cursor is moved a little magnifying glass shows up.

Now, if I'm wanting to write a longish chunk of text I find myself doing so in another app and then pasting it over to Quire because it's simply too inconvenient to do so otherwise.

Hi Leah, with iOS 12, by long-pressing the keyboard’s space bar at any time, you can use it to easily move your cursor without having to obscure the text with your finger. 👍

I’m sorry, I have an older phone (6+) without 3D touch. I guess that must be the problem.

Hi Leah, Yes, I understand what you mean. I suggest you could use the 3D touch feature, press hard on the space bar of iPhone keyboard, then you could navigate the cursor however you like without struggling. Hope this helps.
