Custom fields

I used it (before moving to Quire 😂) for assigning tasks to "ghost users" who shouldn't join a task manager. For example in tasks like "Bring a book back from John".

It's like tags, but has a bit different meaning. When you want more dimensions for filtering tasks, but don't want to mess up tag list with a lot of different values.

@azedgetech - I'm sorry, we still don't have updates for Custom Field feature. I'm afraid it probably won't be available in the near future.

Hi Denis, thanks for the example, custom field is actually in our long list of features that we wish to incorporate, but as we have other higher priority features we would like to finish first, we have not gotten to custom fields yet.

Hi Peggy, sometimes I need cost of the task, sometimes - estimates. Sometimes the tasks represent physical objects - and it would be convenient to have its parameters as custom fields. I would suggest that custom would can be global within the project. Of course, math/functions with the fields would be an advantage, but the very presence of them is much more important.
