Just had this idea for repeating tasks like "repeat every week" ...do you think there could be an option to repeat every week/month/.../... a) after task completed b) regardless of completion date/time. In other words with option a) selected, the task, once ticked as completed, would create a new item in the task schedule a week/month... from the date the task was ticked as completed. With option b) it would simply add a week to the original date next to the task regardless of completion date. a) if task scheduled for Friday every week and completed on Saturday, it would reschedule next one to Saturday instead of Friday. b) if task scheduled for Friday every week and completed on Sunday it would create next task to be scheduled for Friday anyway.
Just an idea and hope it makes sense 😃
Hi Petr, Both options are doable in Quire. Option A: click on “Set to repeat”, in Repeat, choose “custom”, you can still set the due date, but in Every, set for 7 days, so tasks will be repeating every week. Remember to tick “Since my last completed day”. So regardless the due date you have set, the new due date will be 7 days after the date you actually completed the task. Hope this makes sense.

Option B: this is actually our default setting. Click on “Set to repeat”, in Repeat, choose “weekly”, then choose which day you would like the task to repeat. It would create a new task scheduled for Wednesday, regardless of your actual completion date. 😜
