I'm old Todoist user. I have very big experience with many to-do apps. Some good, some not. Todoist (and not only, used just as example) in my opinion have some killing feature which I'm missing too much in my daily routine for almost 2 years now with Quire.
Quire is NOT task processing centrific application. Current left pane with "my tasks" menu absolutely not usable. You do not motivate your users to finish more and more job. You do not annoying them by left tasks for today like to it many apps.
Is it good? I think it's not good.
Can you please make an features (optional, user can enable/disable) which will motivate users to finish more job?
For example, how it did Todoist:

As you see, they have these simple counters. If you will add something like this, which will be very bold, and will be always catchy by user eyes, we (me, users) will know about how many tasks is left for today, and will be motivated for example if less then 5-10 tasks per day - to finish them all just to keep the counter at zero. Also, if you will add some kind of achievements or any trash small notifications when done all tasks like some event with popup window like: "very well, today you did everything what you did planned, now take a rest, and keep going further!" Or anything like that (just to motivate a user) it will force end users (us) to process more and more tasks.
But you have a lot of problems because of your structures (organization, project, taskslists)
Which tasks identify as a tasks what need to process? Hmm, I do not really know. You have a "heart" feature in each tasks, maybe try this one + a tasks what need to process just today?
Or add an configuration for this.
