In the task List from the project I added few tasks, Same tasks are not added automatically to the board even though I would have benefited to be added automatically to the board. However, if I tick in the Task list that one task is complete, when I import tasks to the board, the completed task can't be added to the board because it is deleted from the selection list.

Hi Alexandra, If you have completed the tasks in list view, there are 2 ways you can still add them to board.

  1. right-click on task > add to board > select the board. Note when you do it this way, the tasks will be added to the “completed” column.
  2. go to board > choose a column > add existing tasks > filter bar > All Tasks. If you chose the to-do/ in progress column to add completed tasks to, there will be a popup window to inform you about the status change.

Also, why do you need to add a completed task to a board? The reason I asked this is because our philosophy for kanban board is to help the user focus on task workflow. User can see the task move from one column to another and finally to the completed column. So if a task is already completed, normally it won’t be added to board anymore. I would love to know your thoughts on this. And hope this helps. Thanks. 😜
