Sort by date -> creating a task

Hi!

First of all, thank you for making an awesome product! I'm using Quire for a few weeks now and I notice that I love to pick the tasks I want to do that day, add the tag <today> and then sort it, to remove all the other tasks. But after sorting by date, I am unable to create new tasks. Is there something obvious I am just not seeing?

I am getting the following message: You cannot add root tasks in this mode.
