Right now, when viewing tasks in LIST view, I can double click on the task and nowhere on the side panel description area do I see which BOARD a task belongs to, I have to click on the icon next to the up arrow in the menu to see a dropdown showing which BOARD the task belongs to.

The whole reason I created this suggestion is because I am not currently creating a parent task with the same name as the board. I will now starting using a parent task name with the same name as the board, and this will give me a better indication of the board name. In this scenario I don’t mind having to click on the drop down to see and change the name of the current board.
I still strongly believe that there should be an organise by board view on the task list page, where the board name is the header , I feel it’s strange for me to have to create a parent task name the same as the board every time.

Hi guys, thanks for your feedback. I will pass them to our designer team. What about hovering over the breadcrumbs and seeing the board name, would this work for you guys? Thanks.

I was more thinking, it would be nice to list the take in Board order with the Board as the header, just like when you select that you want to order by Task Owner.
Regarding task hierarchy - I’ve noticed that the hierarchy (task order) is different in both the Board and Task view. I can move a task from 1/5 to 5/5 in Task view and the changes are not reflected to the Board view and vice versa

Hi Vishal, I understand your point. To sum up: you mainly use the Board view to track your project. You would like the board name to be automatically created as a header in the List view. But what happens when you create a new task in one of your board (e.g Production), where should it be added in the List? Under the header (Production)? Or at the end of the List? Love to know your thoughts on this. Thanks! 😃
