I’d love to be able to see whether I have overdue items from my iOS home screen.

Hi Leigh, this makes sense. But I think this varies from users to users. Some users would like the badge icon to show how many tasks they need to finish Today, some may want it to show how many Overdue tasks they have. The badge icon for most apps out there and Quire is for new notifications. Still, I shall bring your suggestion to our team. Thanks.
