Hi, Quire team! Will you be considering adding the feature of diaplaying a full task name in multiple lines on the home page of the phone app?

Peggy, thank you, that works perfectly!!! I'd never guess what that setting does, so my usability tip is πŸ€—... Name things WHAT THEY ARE, because the user would never guess the purpose and difference of Basic vs. Advanced mode, as they are meaningless. Might as well call it "xyzyz" and "wawawa" 😁. Do you want basic or advanced pancakes? No idea!

Why not rename that setting to a checkbox: [βœ“] Show full task titles

Or: Task list display: (β€’) Full titles (multi-line) ( ) Partial titles (single line)

Hi @alexr , you could toggle on the Advanced mode by giving you phone a shake or set it in your Account Settings under Display mode. This way your task title will be wrapped text. Hope this helps.

Hi Jue, we are thinking about a way to show more details without going into the detail panel. Thank you.

Hi Joshua, Thank you for letting us know. Besides the main panel, where else would you like to see the full titles? I have used Todoist, they support only 4 levels of subtasks, so they can show wrap text for task names. Quire supports infinite levels of subtasks, that’s why we have to think more about the design on how to show more information in the main panel. Thanks.

Hi Joshua, thanks for the screenshots. I have passed your suggestion to our designer team. πŸ‘

This is a very important feature, I am voting for it with both hands. Even on a good size smartphone, most tasks names do not fit in the task list. I have to click each one to see what it says. This renders the application useless for most of my to-do's. Can you please add a display setting to wrap task titles? Consider Excel, where you can have the cell contents cut off -- or wrap so that the entire text is visible. Or look at any modern text editor that can wrap text lines around to fit them on the screen.

Wow! I didn't know that feature.. and I thought that I've explored every corner of the app! πŸ˜‚ I've faced the same issue and before creating a new ticket I searched in the history for "wrap", and thanksfully peggy used that word, so I could reach this post. I agree with alexander that points the option renaming, except there are other functionalities enabled with the same option selection, what is usually the case. In most text editors this feature is called word wrap. In any case, I don't know why it doesn't work for me. Even do I already enabled the advanced view, I still see title ending with 3 dots instead of the full title. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
