I just noticed our filtered view keeps resetting to the default (Active tasks) whenever you change between tab pages List - Board - Overview. This is unlike changing between projects, which does remember your previous view.
Perhaps when you open the Filter panel and click on the small pencil icon to the right of each view, an additional option "Set as default" besides "Rename" and "Remove" could help?
