I wish that for projects, there could be a setting to automatically add new tasks to a board, without you needing to add each task individually.

Hi @tcashion , we don’t automatically add the tasks into a board for you. Our main purpose for letting users add tasks to board manually is for users to narrow down their list and choose what they want to focus on at this moment. You can see a blog post about this.
Also, since we support multiple boards for one project, we won’t know which board you would like to add the tasks to.
You could select the task (can even press Shift to multiple select) and right-click > Add to board > then choose the board you want to add to. 👍 Hope this helps.
