Hi,
T shortcut key adds root task. However, if the list is sorted in ANY way, the T shortcut key , or clicking on the + icon, doesn't do anything.
On mobile, the big + button behaves intuitively. For example, if the list is sorted by date, and the screen is looking at Today, pressing the + will add the task to Today. If the screen is scrolled down to Tomorrow, the + button will add the task to Tomorrow.
I believe the T shortcut key on desktop quire should behave in the same way as the + button on mobile, just add the task to the top category, whichever it is. As, like I said, this big + button , and hotkey T doesn't do anything. I bet most users have their tasks sorted in SOME way, making this shortcut useless.
It's not a big deal, but I think the change I suggested would make the behavior a little more intuitive.
Best regards, Ivan
Hi @ic , we have changed the behavior for the keyboard shortcut T.
Now, if you are in the sorted mode, you will also be to add root tasks with shortcut T.
Which section will the system add the root task to? It will add it to the one you are inspecting.
