#2424: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Hello, when I plan my day I look at all the tasks due on that day and following the Gettings Done Method, I change the due date of those items I cannot do.

The problem is, everytime I change the due date of a task, the page jumps down to the date to which I moved the task. Then I have to scroll back up to review the next item.

This jumping down and scrolling up is annoying. Would it be possible to not jump around?

Thank you! Luis

+1 Im guessing it's a conscious decision to revert it tho?

Any news here? It is quite annoying to manage my daily to-dos. I have a large list of to-dos and decide each day which ones to do and which ones to post-pone (following GTD). So it would be great if your tool supported this in a smooth way.

Hi @peggy : It seems to be jumping up and down again. Any chances you could get that fixed? It makes it cumbersome to review the list of to-dos and organize them by date. Thanks!

thanks @peggy

@peggy Thank you very much!

+1 at first I was annoyed, then I thought "hm, maybe there's a logic behind this, at least I know for sure where the task was moved". But now when I think about it again, whenever a date is changed, there's that small "pop-up" that let's you know about the change (and offering the undo button), so I agree that the jumping back and forth is not necessary. 😃

Hi, we have reverted the spec for this issue. The reason is that we would like to have a more stable and better solution. I will keep you updated. Thanks.

@ic might be, but in that case it doesn't help their aim to support GTD. In GTD you need to organize your to-do list first thing in the day and decide which items are actionable and which ones aren't. This can't be done jumping back and forth constantly.

It seems like this has been fixed, is that the case? It is really nice now, thank you!

Hi @luis.alvarez , unfortunately, we haven't had updates for this feedback yet. We still need some more time to come up with a better solution for this. 😭
