@peggy I like the way Quire implemented the Kanban feature. It enables you to only put a task on the board as soon as it becomes necessary for processing. The list serves as a kind of master list.

Hi all, please see my responses below:
Notifications and Reminders: Separating notifications and reminders is on our radar. We will work on this together once we get to our native calendar feature.
Sorting by date and still keeping the hierarchy: In Todoist, when sorted by date, they will list the tasks in chronological order. But there is another problem: please look at the list below for example, what if you only want to see the tasks that you need to focus on Today? Unfortunately, you won’t be able to, since the Today tasks are in two separate branches of the tree structure. If your list gets really long (more than 100 tasks, which can happen if you’re working with a team instead of personal use), don’t you think the way Todoist handles the sorting create another problem?

Unactionable tasks: Having unactionable tasks is also on our list of potential features for future development.
Kanban board: Our philosophy when developing the Kanban board is different from other solutions with board view, like Trello. We hope Quire users use our Kanban board together with their task list. We believe by switching between the two views, the workflow can be improved and more productive. When the task list gets a bit overwhelming, you can select the crucial tasks that matter the most for a short period of time and add them to the board. As the project moves forward, the board view will help users visualize their workflow and help them evaluate each team members workload.
Of course, this is our initial thought when we develop the Kanban board, but we never want to put a limit on the way our users use Quire. Users should feel free to be creative with Quire features and create the most logical workflow that suits their need.

Focusing on tasks for Today, in Todoist, I do by tagging them with @Must_Do, @Should_Do or @Can_Do. A separate filter lists these max 10-15 tasks. This also forces me to go through my projects each day.
