#2484: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Hi, thanks so much for a wonderful product. I've been using Quire just a few weeks now, and I love it.

Two possible bugs:

  1. Pressing the Tab key to make a task a subtask used to work but is no longer working.
  2. Dragging and dropping a task to move it is used to work, but is no longer working.

For the first one, let's say I want to add a new subtask under a main task. I press Enter to get a task field, then Tab to make it a child task. The Tab doesn't work. It used to.

For the second item, let's say I want to make a main task into a subtask of another task. I click and drag it to the place I want it, but I only see the global "no" symbol and can't do it.

System: Chrome (latest) with Windows 10 64-bit. Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin are disabled for the Quire site.

Thanks!

Regards,

Marina Michaels

Hi @mami , glad to hear that you love Quire! Thanks so much! I believe you are under some sorting mode. When in Sort mode (i.e. sort by date), the tasks will be laid out flat (without hierarchy). Unless the tasks belong in the same group (Overdue), then they will remain a hierarchy structure.

  1. For Tab key to indent task, I will let the team know about this.
  2. For drag and drop, you would be able to drag the task to another Group, but won't be able to make it another task's subtask.
