There's a pop-up that appears when you're looking at all tasks that says "tasks that were completed a long time ago are not being displayed" Or something to that effect. The statement is not grammatically correct.
Also: could you include what the cutoff is for how long completed items are displayed?

When you have completed tasks over 60 days ago, the below option will appear in your filter dropdown menu.
