#2503: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Created by (deleted-IAMQ) Nov 13, 2019, Edited Nov 13, 2019

Hi @pascal.zweipfenning , how about putting all your projects into one organization? This way you could share the tags between projects. This is the closest workaround that I could think of. 😭

For the Smart Folder limitation, we might lift the limitation after we introduce our paid plan next year.

@peggy why not lift the Smart Folder limitation now. I'm afraid many potential customers will ignore Quire because of this. Is for performance reasons in the app? Now I can't use this great app.

@joshuarobison.biz as mentioned, having 800 tasks in only task-subtask structure doesn't work for anyone. I have two companies to run, multiple customer project at the time and all my personal and household tasks to manage. And according to. GTD a project is a number of tasks belonging together with a specific intended outcome. So a project has a start and an end date. In your setup, there is a for ever running project. In Amazing Marvin they use categories, projects and tasks. That's the best approach in my opinion.

@joshuarobison.biz All of what you are saying about my task list is NOT true. It is very well structured. My project are build up out of 90% template projects with the same tasks included. I have projects for different customers, for the two different companies I run, for househould, for personal health, a Tickler file anf most of them have subprojects to represent the actual projects at those customers, companies etc. So it is very, very structured. Working with GTD for almost 10 years is giving me this result. I have filters for Today Planning, Next Actions, All Schedulded Tasks , Someday/Maybe, Recurring Tasks, Meeting Preparation, Waiting For, etc. So it exactly fits your description and probably even better. Not sure where you got the idea I just playing around in productivity land.
