Right now it's a mess. I can't see any subtasks they are all scrambled. There are tasks that are overdue at the top of my giant list and the ones that the are due today or in the future are scattered everywhere

I think many task management apps struggle with the same issue. Todoist shows the subtasks double, in the web app you can at least see that a task has subtasks, but the subtask has no indication that it is a subtask. In Clickup you can choose to show the subtasks separately from the parent or keep them together. But what to do when the subtask and parent have different due dates and you sort by due date? I think there is no real clean solution that can cover all situations. Showing them separately would have my preference, but then you should have an indication that a task is subtask, and a parent has subtasks.
