Hello,
I run multiple businesses and there are often times that staff need me to review items and approve them. I plan on using tags on tasks to highlight when I am needed. I want to be able to search for these via the search bar and I don't know what it is but sometimes they seem to work, other times it says "No Results" but I know there should be. Even if it select, "search other projects". FYI this is done on the My Tasks page normally. It would be good if those that created the organisations can search ALL tasks across ALL organisations and ALL projects in one search bar.
Also when opening the more details tab for each task, it would be good to be able to link to the organisation or the project. Currently it isn't very clear which organisation it relates to.
Thanks,
Rob
@r.sorrell Correct! When working in multiple organizations, wetter that is in a team, or as an individual, you want to be able to query across these organizations. Quire is becoming a great product and needs some polishing, here and there, on how you can use the hierarchical structure in combination with filtering.

Yes its odd. I have a screenshot of it saying it was removed. The weird thing is there are no messages that I wrote that seemed to be removed...

Hi @r.sorrell , thank you for your feedback!
- We will look into the "searching by tags in My Tasks" issue.
- I will let our team know about your feedback (show more details about which organization the tag belongs to).

Hi @r.sorrell , there seem to be some issues with searching by tags in My Tasks, but the issue that I have found is not exactly what you have described...
- When in My Tasks, you should be able to search for tasks with tags from other projects (across all organizations). You would have to click "Search other projects".
- Another thing is that you could change the scope that you are searching for. Try switching the scope to All Tasks.

@peggy one more thing... When I just opened this thread there was my name with a message saying "this message has been removed". However I cannot see it now. Any ideas?

Are we allowed to recommend Quire alternatives now as the above? @vickyp

Hi Rob,
Yes that's why I said it looked like a glitch in our system 😃 Our system might detect there was a deleted comment there 😃
But for the future reference, if there's a comment and someone deletes it, you can track them down 😏

Thank you Vicky. I am not sure if you got what I meant, I didn't actually write a comment for it to be deleted!

Thank you for your help. I don't want to leave Quire but I have a lot of developers, designers and admin staff and need to find a "home". The softwares need to allow management staff to search across all organisations.

I has some discussions on the same topic here. Somehow Quire assumes that we are all working in de same organization. However this limits the flexibility Quire has. We should be free to define how we use an Organization. I would like to use it as my different areas of responsibility while others want to use it as the different departments, or project groups. Anyone who would like to stick a single organization also has that ability, as Quire is not forcing you to split everything into different organizations. The same applies to Smart Folders which actually are saved searches. Searching in the My Tasks view however, allows to search across all, Organizations, Projects and tasks. That's not consistent.

Clickup supports this. However it's rather complicated to use in my opinion, I for sure more expensive.

Hi Rob,
It looks like there's a glitch in our system. We already made some adjustments, after today's update, you can track if there's anyone delete your comment 😃 thanks
Vicky, Dec 3, 2019
Thank you @peggy it will be very beneficial because I have actually run into the problem today as I am moving developers across to this platform. Tasks were completed and I knew that they had bee tagged for review but I could not find a combination of filters to actually be able to view the tasks that required review in "My Tasks".
Rob Sorrell, Nov 27, 2019
Hey, Yeah I have done all of that and I cannot get it to display. Also a reply on my message above would be greatly appreciated. I worked out the time that the message should have been sent and I was definitely doing something else. So it shouldn't have come from my account! It is quite worrying.
Rob Sorrell, Nov 28, 2019
@r.sorrell - do you mean your comment under this thread got removed? Did the message you saw look like this?
I checked the activity log for this thread, no comments were removed. I will check with the tech team and see if there's any logging issue.

I have also read some users in similar requests mentioning that they believe Quire is aimed at single organisations with employees. It does appear that way if the tags issue hasn't been resolved with a number of requests for it... Can you please let me know so I can find software that will suit our requirements a bit better?
