#2574: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Overall this is a fantastic to-do app that we will most likely be using on a regular basis for our team going forward. Thank you!

A few items that I've seen in other task management apps that we have found helpful:

Location based reminders - our team travels to different locations and is not on a perfect rotation, our work weeks never look the same. Sometimes we are in a location twice in one week, other times we can go 6 weeks or more between visits. The recurring task option is definitely one we'll be using but would be helpful to have this based on location rather than a set weekly or monthly schedule. It now sometimes looks like we neglected to get a subtask done when in reality we never went to that particular location.

  1. Subtasks that show the parent task title - we have set up our locations as subtasks with the parent task which in turn specifies which action item needs to be completed so there are repeats of the same subtask. If we search for one of our locations it simply lists the location name over and over and we cannot tell which action item or parent task each is referring to. This happens both in the web app and the mobile app.

  2. Sections - Inside the project we have a selection of a dozen or more tasks that are simply listed all together, it would be helpful to have separate sections to categorize the tasks into so they're not all lumped together.

Thank you!

⭐️ I have merged your post with this post #3535 already covering this request.

Hi @rachel-43 , thank you for your feedback! I will pass them to the team! Please see my replies below:

  1. Location based reminders - This is a known feature request by our team. It's in our plan, but unfortunately, it won't be available in the near future... 😭
  2. Subtasks that show the parent task title - Hit Ctrl/Alt(for Mac) to toggle on the breadcrumbs. To turn it off, hit Ctrl again.
  3. Sections - This is also in our future plan. We will probably add a feature: "Non-actionable" task. Possible ideas: This kind of task can only act as headers/titles. You won't be able to complete them, set statuses to them... (These are just only ideas that we have in mind)
