First of all, I want to give BIG THANKS for including this feature! I requested it a few months ago, and was ready to plead for you to include it again, only to find on this forum that it's been included.
Soooo, already one takeaway here is that I didn't notice the new key feature even tho I'm using Quire daily.
I think you guys should think of a slightly different behavior of the sort menu, so that users get a hunch that it's possible to sort by multiple criteria. The small + button that appears next to sort options after REOPENING the sort menu is not noticable enough IMO.
Hi franki - We changed our spec a while back ago. So the old sorting feature is now separated into two function: Group and Sort.
Only the Group features can be grouped by two options. You can now only sort by one option.

Is this still an active feature, it does not appear on my account, can only sort by a single option. I would like to sort by date first and then sort by priority

Hi @ic , we consider two sorting options as an Advanced feature. We wish to keep our user interface as clean and user-friendly as possible. Still, great thank you for your feedback.
A small tip: you don't have to reopen the sorting menu for the + button to appear. When you hover over the sorting menu, it is already there. Hope this helps.
