Most dates should probably be interpreted as future dates.
A suggestions: If the date is within 9/10/11 months in the future, interpret it as future date, if not, as past date.
Hi @ic , it's fixed again. When you type in today's date, the default will be "today" rather than next year. 😂 Thank you for letting us know.

Thanks, I just want to point out that typing today's date set's the task 1 year from now. Perhaps the default should be 'today'.
I haven't tested yet, but if I'm adding a new task a few minutes after midnight, and I'm not looking at the calendar, type tomorrow's date (which is actually today, since it's past midnight), the date would be set 1 year from now.
